What to Bring: Personal documents, light clothing, trekking shoes, sun hat, rain poncho (August – March), sunscreen, insect repellent, water, snacks, and cash in soles for personal expenses.
Brief Itinerary:
• At the agreed-upon time, we will pick you up from your accommodation and take a private transfer to the train station. We will then board our train to Aguas Calientes, where our guide will be waiting to begin the tour. We will board a shared bus to ascend to Machu Picchu and enjoy a guided tour, exploring the most important sites.
Depending on your ticket type, you will visit Machu Picchu. If you wish to visit Circuit 2, which allows access to the entire archaeological zone, it is recommended to book four months in advance.
After visiting Machu Picchu, we will board the bus back to Aguas Calientes and then our train back to Cusco. At the train station, your driver will be waiting to take you to your accommodation.
